EVERYDAY’S MONDAY
Everyday’s Monday; what can I say
It’s
work, not play
You know when you start your day
You get out of bed
That’s the first thing you dread
Because sleep is still on your mind
You look at the clock and it’s time to
put on your house shoes
Because you have the Monday morning
blues
Trying to clear the head to tell your
body that you’re out of bed
Now to get a shower, brush your teeth,
have breakfast
“Cause you’re in a rush to get to your
car or
Take the bus, ride the train
You’re up and out to make a living
because no one’s
Giving a darn thing
Everyday is Monday
The routine is the same day in day out
without a doubt
Sometimes you want to shout
You know work is not that hare, but,
getting there
Is what make you insane
It will wreck your brain
It will make you wanna say a few of
those words and
Flip your finger in a gesture
It’s a tester for you to stay mute on
your commute to work
