Gregory never stops thinking, even when he's sleeping. Having played dominoes since childhood with his (now late) father in Texas, he had always heard dominoes referred to as “bones”, as in the term “Play D’ Bones”. Recently, Gregory decided that not only was there no real reason why dominoes had to be the traditional shape of a rectangle, they could be made thinner in order to carry a complete set of double-six dominoes in a pouch; hence Play D’ Bones was born in Gregory’s mind. Now his Play D’ Bones will be available for purchase here and in stores across America, and you too can carry your “Dominoes in a Pouch” wherever you travel. Gregory feels deeply that the only way the human race will survive is to instill positive values in our children and grandchildren, as they are the future of this planet. Gregory would rather see kids playing dominoes than playing cops and robbers. |

A MINI-HISTORY OF DOMINOES
Dominoes are small tiles, traditionally carved from ivory or bone with small, round pips of inset ebony. The name “Dominoes” may derive from this black-on-white look. “Domino” is the French word for a Christian priest’s winter hood, which was black on the outside and white on the inside. “Domino” is also a style of mask featuring a black and white motif.
Dominoes appear to be a Chinese invention, with the oldest sets dating from around 1120 A.D. Sometime in the early 18th century, dominoes made their first European appearance.
These tiles may be used to play many different games. Over time, Chinese dominoes also evolved into the tile set used to play Mah Jong, a game which swept across the United States in the 1920s.
